Terms of service

These terms apply when you use Regression Studio Cloud, the hosted service that stores and shows regression runs published by the Regression Studio CLI. By creating an account you agree to them on behalf of yourself and any organization you create or join.

Your account

Keep your sign-in email and API keys secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account and your organization's API keys. Delete a key in Settings as soon as you think it has leaked.

Your content

You own the test cases and run results you publish. You give us permission to store, process and display them only to provide the service to you and the members of your organization. Don't publish content you have no right to share, and avoid real customer data in tests: screenshots and recordings capture whatever your app shows.

Acceptable use

Don't use the service to break the law, to attack or overload it, or to get around plan limits, for example by spreading one team's usage across several free organizations.

Plans and payment

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew until cancelled. You can cancel any time from Settings → Billing; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period and is not refunded pro rata. If a payment fails and isn't resolved, the organization moves to the Free plan, and runs older than its retention period are deleted. We will give at least 30 days' notice before raising the price of a plan you're on. Current plans and limits are on the pricing page.

Availability

We work to keep the service available and your data safe, but it is provided "as is", without guarantees of uninterrupted operation. The CLI also writes every run's results to your machine, and nothing in your app or CI depends on the service being up.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Ending

You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, and will tell you why. If we ever shut the service down, we will give at least 60 days' notice so you can download your runs.
